The Café Bar at No. 12 opened 28th March, 2006 and is now fully licensed.

Since opening it has proved popular with locals and residents alike. During the renovations beautiful retractable doors were installed at the front of the building to take advantage of its south-facing aspect on Quality Street. What better way to end the day than enjoying a glass of chilled wine while watching the world go by.

Andy McQueen, head Chef at the Nether Abbey, heads up the team in the newly built kitchen and is working towards opening for dinner service in the summer of 2006.

The Café Bar is currently open from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. daily and serves light meals and snacks.

After sitting through numerous presentations by coffee companies, the choice was simple: Illy – Italy’s most popular coffee.

During the winter of 2007, we will be closed for dinner on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

For residents, reservations can be made at our sister hotel, The Nether Abbey Hotel, and we will be pleased to provide transport via our courtesy car.
